The National Society of Black Engineers here at Texas Southern University is dedicated to ensuring that its members are prepared academically, professionally, and also to make a positive impact on the community.  We are excited about the current academic year which we are striving for excellence.  For the upcoming years, we will devote our time into increasing the impact of our programs and events. 

The main focus on our organization is developing more members.  We strive to prepare our members for the engineering field by excelling socially and being more efficient.  Our members have the benefit in growth development in areas such as: leadership, academics, and technical expertise.

Our chapter is focused on promoting academic success for its members as well as technical strengths.  Furthermore, the chapter will continue to develop strong leaders and positive attitudes among all of our members.  Come and join our chapter where you can make a difference and become a great leader.
